Thank you for considering adoption! This very important decision will affect the entire family for many years. The average lifespan for cats and dogs is 13-17 years, but it is not uncommon for some pets to make it to 20 years old!

Prior to adoption all pets will receive age appropriate vaccinations, spay or neutering, microchip with lifetime registration, deworming, FIV/FELV testing for cats and heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months of age.

This does not include any specialized care, like injuries or illness. Adoption fees can save you money! Free pets may look appealing at first glance, but they usually do not come with medical care, so while you may save money on an adoption fee initially, the medical costs will add up quickly.
